Mr Kemp....The final blog

This is the video of 'The Little Beggar' which i have taken and added sounds onto. I will be talking about each scene and which sounds i have used throughout the video.

This is the beginning of the clip where we see there are footsteps and the title of the clip. For this scene i have particularly added foot step sounds to make it realistic. I had to copy each sound twice to get the exact sounds of the footsteps. I have also added these footsteps throughout most of the video.

In the next part of the clip there is a bottle on the ground which has been kicked by the beggar. I have outlined where the bottle is to make it more clearer. I have used a glass smashing sound effect to get the bottle effect and make it realistic.

This is now the next scene of the clip and for this i have thought carefully about which sound i am going to add onto it. As we can see from this screenshot that it is a open space tunnel so if there is a footstep there will be an echo to back up that sound. So for this scene i have chosen to make a traffic noise so we can hear cars driving passed and mainly natural sounds. I have also added the footsteps in this scene to make it seem as though the beggar is coming down this way.

For these three parts of the clip i have chosen to do the footsteps and a siren noise. The reason why i have chosen the siren noise is because in the second screen shot out of the three we can see its showing a abandoned area where there's graffiti on the walls and so on. Another reason as to why i added on the sirens is because it brings a sense of fear and mystery into the clip and makes the audience to keep watching and think of what is going to happen next.

All of a sudden the genre of the clio changes and it turns into something else which is totally different compared to what we were watching and also the beggar is removed, but there is still that element of the same setting as we can see the graffiti on the wall.
I have added a mysterious violin sound to make it seem as if it was still carrying on with that mystery from the last clips.


Throughout this clip we can see that it is a non diegetic sound that is being used where i have added mood music and sound affects to make it sound that extra bit dramatic.
